Iridology is the study of patterns and colors on the Iris of the eye to determine information about a person's health. The Iris is divided into multiple zones, each one will represent a different part of the organs. Viewing the eye to determine which organ and system in the body are under stress and at risk of developing specific conditions. By comparing the findings on a chart identifying potential health conditions that have caused changes in the Iris. Also by comparing measurements over time to track changes that indicate if an illness is progressing or improving. It can get an understanding of your past, present, and potential future health conditions by assessing the various body systems. Your inherited tendencies compounded by toxic accumulations in various parts of your body are also revealed. The Iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by the way the brain and central nervous system through the optic nerve. The optic nerve is connected to the nervous system. Which is the main link to everything that goes on in the body.
Iridology was so fascinating to me when I first learned of it. I found out what hurt me in the past and what could hurt me in the future. I worked on fixing that and feel better than ever. Even though Iridology is still controversial, some professionals feel this can be a very useful tool to detect many health conditions. Some researchers are considering improving the practice by using computer-aided diagnostics. For now, however, the study of the Iris for sysmetic disease indications is far from being a viable clinical tool.
However, the Iris will give an understanding of the patient's constitutional type, which gives a better indicator of diet and lifestyle changes that need to be implemented in order to optimize health.
